Florida Python Hunters in the Florida Everglades

Python Hunters Will Be Compensated for Removing Deadly Pythons
For the first time in Everglades history, the preserved national park is allowing for expert python hunters to enter the territory and hunt for the invasive Burmese pythons that have been taking over the Everglades for years. These invasive pythons prey on all the animals in the wetlands, and they have been consuming almost every living species in their path.According to CBS Miami, python hunters will be paid by the state, and the expansion could begin as early as this month. The goal is to remove the deadly pythons from the Everglades to ensure that the wildlife is being preserved and not harmed. The invasive predators have been expanding rapidly, and Everglades animals are suffering because of this. Everglades Holiday Park, a South Florida alligator and airboat park, explains what this means for the future of the Everglades, and how these pythons could affect Everglades sightseeing.
Pythons are Destroying the Florida Everglades
The giant snakes have been destroying the native wildlife in the Everglades and they're slowly taking over the land. This species is even causing the American Alligator to feel threatened in its own environment! By allowing trained and authorized python hunters to come in and get rid of these dangerous animals, the Everglades will be able to overcome this growing issue. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission ensures that this project will not harm the Everglades in any way. The goal is to simply get rid of an invasive species that’s negatively effecting the Florida Everglades. Pythons will consume any animal in their path, which unfortunately includes the wildlife native to the land, as well as their food sources.Continued Preservation and Conservation Efforts
When it comes sightseeing in Florida, the wonderous Everglades is the perfect destination to explore and take in all that this unique wetland has to offer. By preserving the wildlife and solving the python problem, people from all around the world can continue to experience one of nature’s greatest gifts with an abundance of wildlife surrounding them.Airboat Rides at Everglades Holiday Park
