Everglades Holiday Park Gets a Shout-out from “Dealicious Mom”
South Florida’s Dealicious Mom blogger Stephanie Coligan and her family were impressed on their recent trip to Everglades Holiday Park in Davie, Florida, affirming this spot “should be on everyone’s bucket list”. Visitors might be new to this subtropical wetland, but Everglades Holiday Park is frequented by locals who agree it is a great way to spend a sunny South Florida day.
Everglades Holiday Park lets you experience the beauty of South Florida’s largest remaining subtropical wilderness, giving you a true taste of this treasured natural attraction. With over 1.5 million acres of marshland, swamps, and mangrove forests, Everglades Holiday Park takes you directly to the exotic creatures to view them in their most natural habitat.
Calling it a “must- do” attraction, Coligan and her family spent the day observing exotic birds, iguanas, and alligators in their own environment on Captain Rick’s airboat “Battleship”. The guides at Everglades Holiday Park know all of the hot spots for viewing, and have close relationships with some of the gators, even summoning them by name.
Coligan and her family were fascinated by how close Everglades Holiday Park’s Gator Boys come in contact with these intimidating creatures during their informative shows. Her kids were able to get their picture taken while holding baby alligators and pythons; the perfect souvenir for their trip.
