Our exclusive Animal Encounter is available for individuals and groups of all sizes as a standalone experience, or as an add-on to your airboat tour ticket purchase.
Our Animal Encounter area is in a closed-off, private section of our park where guests will enjoy a relaxed setting with a small group. This way, you can guarantee front row, personal contact with our wildlife and our handlers, who will gladly answer any questions you might have about the animals you see on an private airboat tour. Your encounter will include a variation of tortoises, skunks, raccoons, snakes, pigs, alligators, and others. Our expert animal handlers will teach you important and interesting information about these creatures, then give you the opportunity to interact with the animals.
Whether you’ve spotted exotic animals in the Everglades while speeding across the unique landscape in one of our state-of-the-art airboats or you have witnessed the jaw-dropping, breath-taking alligator wrestling show in our famous Gator Pit, you’re probably on-board to learn more about several other amazing creatures!

Yes, absolutely! Either add it to your shopping cart while you're on our buy tickets page, or tell our kind front desk workers when you arrive at the park that you would like to add an Animal Encounter to your purchase.
Our animals include a variation of tortoises, skunks, raccoons, snakes, baby alligators, bearded dragons, scorpions and other fun and exciting animals. We rotate our animals out to give them breaks so we typically don't use the same anmals from one day to the next.
Want to make your animal encounter extra special while on an Everglades tours? As an add-on, you can take a photo with an extremely rare, albino baby alligator named Luna!
Just as our thrilling 60-minute airboat rides and our live gator shows accommodate adults and children of all ages, our new interactive animal encounter program welcomes everyone! This experience is safe for visitors of all ages; however, we recommend that younger children are accompanied by an adult. Animal Encounters are perfect for birthday parties or special events!
